  • Earth Day! Stewardship Day, Monday April 22, 10AM-12PM. Spring cleaning of the public access beach areas at Chocorua Lake. Come help care for this beloved natural resource. Meet at the Island public access parking area. More info here, or call 603-323-6252.
  • Vernal Pool Exploration, Friday, April 26, 9-11:30AM, with naturalist Lynne Flaccus. Take a short hike and explore vernal pools on the CLC Clark Reserve in Chocorua. Meet at the head of the “Old Mail Rd.” on Chocorua Lake Rd., just east and downhill from the intersection of Philbrick Neighborhood Rd. More info here, or call 603-323-6252.
  • Stewardship Day, Wednesday, May 8, 10-12, with naturalist Lynne Flaccus. Mulch fruiting shrubs at Moose Meadows in Chocorua to improve wildlife habitat. Meet in the field at Moose Meadows (off Rt.16 across from the Quilt Shop north of the lake) at 10. Look for the green and white NRCS sign on the pine tree on the north side of the highway.
