Other events (not sponsored by the CLC):

  • Mt Chocorua Race, Saturday, June 16th, organized by Ryan Welts & Kristina Folcik, who live in Chocorua.  A race up and down Mount Chocorua crossing Chocorua Lake Conservancy-owned and protected land.  In honor of the CLC’s 50th anniversary, the race organizers have kindly offered to donate a portion of the race’s proceeds to the CLC.
  • Tamworth Summer Contradance Series:  This summer, the dances will be held once a month on Saturday, July 14th and Saturday, August 11th from 8:00pm to 10:30pm at the Tamworth Town House. $7 adults & teens, $3 children under 13. Live music and calling by local musicians and callers, family-friendly, all dances taught! Check out the Tamworth Outing Club website for an updated schedule and more event details.
  • There are some fantastic workshops coming up in the Tamworth area related to forestry for wildlife and unique habitats!
  • The Barnstormers Theatre in Tamworth Village has a lot of fun shows this season, starting with The Producers, running from June 28-July 1; July 3-7 (no performance on July 4th).
